Don't these apples just look delicious? I sure hope so, because we've got a lot of them! Merrick and I took the kids apple picking this morning before Conference. The Honeycrisp apples are in season and we definitely wanted to take advantage of the local U-Pick farm.
Camryn and Avery had fun trying to get them off the trees, although they had a little trouble picking the best ones (according to Merrick). It was a nice chilly October morning!

Happy kids! They both chomped away on them all the way home. They were super juicy, crisp... probably the best apples we've ever had. And I'm pretty sure they were some of the freshest apples we've ever had too! Here's to apple pie, apple crisp, applesauce, apples and peanut butter... Mmmm....

where did you go? we were going to go this morning as well but we kind of got a late start on the day. it's hard because everything closes at like 6 so if we want to go as a family it needs to be on a saturday. ugh. hopefully next sat we can get out. apples really are a signature fall item huh? they look mighty tasty!apple picking is one of the things that makes me enjoy wi!
We went to Barthel's in Mequon. They had small bags for $10 and big ones for $16.
Yum! Gotta love fall for the apples :) We just got done drying a whole bushel of apples.

I just realized that I should've given you some of the apples we picked before you left last month. Sorry about that. Although it sounds like those Honeycrisps are even better than the Paula Reds we picked.
